This all began in 2022 when I decided to record a Christmas album.  Every year for Christmas all my dad has wanted, in his own words, "is to hear me sing". So, I decided to start recording for the first time! After finishing the first single, I thought it was a cool idea to tease the album by releasing my cover of "Santa Baby" as a Christmas in July single. Then, in the fall I released my single, "Smells Like Snow" with a music video to accompany it. I was inspired to write this song while I was watching the show, "Gilmore Girls". My album, which is of the same name, was released shortly after, and I wanted to promote it while simultaneously giving back. So, I decided to put on a Christmas Benefit Concert at The Youngstown Playhouse, and donate all the proceeds to a local arts school called SMARTS (Students Motivated by The Arts). They are an amazing program that offers free art classes to the public! I began teaching there and was able to teach my students a song and dance that they performed at the concert with me. It was the perfect way to end 2022.
